With only about a month left there is still time to have fun with regular tv broadcasts! I came up with this little hack last night, and i'm still amazed!

Materials:

Walkie Talkies:

My girlfriend got these from a white elephant gift exchange. Found at walgreens on sale for 3 packs for $11.98

Screwdrivers:

you're going to need these to take apart the case and to adjust the frequency.

Alligator clips:

once you get in there you may want to mess around, alligator clips will help.

Steps:

1. take apart the walkie talkie and see what you have, mine had a switch, main board that included the talk switch, antenna and a button that makes a beep.

2. find the frequency adjustment (mine was covered in wax) and get it so you can turn it. In the picture the brown thing with the line is the frequency adjustment.

3. turn until you can hear a tv station. to jam the tv station just push the talk button. you can also talk into the speaker and hear yourself over the TV. i tested this both with a radio that gets TV signals and an actual TV.
